The Physics Department at Georgetown University approached PT Web Designs with two problems. They need a face lift for the site and they needed an easy way to update site without a web master.

We designed a series of forms and templates for the site that allowed the users to modify the site themselves. By using these forms the users are now able to upload information on new lectures, schedules and projects. These new interface was specifically designed to be very intuitive and user friendly. The updates are also transmitted across a secure connection.

The facelift of the site resulted in the clean and crisp design you see now. The focus was to bring a little bit of personality to the site without overwhelming the content. The layout makes good use of a limited color pallet to put emphasis on the site navigation elements.

To date the new site and its improved functionality have greatly eased the life of the Physics department staff.
